You can use a resources hacker (best method !) in order to change it like ResHacker or Restorator.
(C:Windowsexplorer.exe)

add a "take ownership" shortcut to your right-click

and use the old trick by using the task manager, end explorer.exe, then browse and replace

HOW TO CHANGE ICONS ON THE SUPERBAR :

First, place your shortcut on the desktop, change icon by : right-click > Properties > Change icons > browse..... > OK > OK
only then place this shortcut on the superbar,
and now it works.

I'm having a problem installing this. Or more AFTER I've installed it. It seems every time I've installed it, it removes my notifications in the bottom right other than the connection and volume icons. I would presume that this isn't meant to be affected by this download but it seems that once I reset my explorer and have the original orb, it fixes the problem... Help would really be appreciated(: I made an account just to ask this, I genuinely need this orb.

This is great but rather than supplying patched explorer.exe's you can just share the orb image bmp's that would be a lots smaller and platform-independent(i mean versions of windows)

I've included the bmp inside for this purpose

And now deviantArt doesn't allow the release of .exe files anyway, I just think it is more easy that way for a lot of people that won't know how to change the bmp inside.

Well it creates a lot of UAC unnecessary prompts.
